Edwin K. Hunter graduated with a juris doctorate from the Louisiana State University Law Center where he was an editor of the Louisiana Law Review and a member of Order of the Coif. While at LSU he wrote an editorial column for The Daily Reveille, received special recognition as founder of the Free Speech Ally, held the title of Outstanding Varsity Debater, and was active in Omicron Delta Kappa, Phi Eta Sigma, Phi Kappa Phi, Sigma Chi and other organizations.
Edwin F. Hunter III graduated with honors from the University of Louisiana in 2001 and then graduated cum from laude Tulane University School of Law in 2004. A seasoned corporate and transactional attorney, Mr. Hunter has been lead counsel on a broad spectrum of matters including nine figure corporate loans, commercial debt restructuring, and multiple private equity backed mergers and acquisitions. Through the years Mr. Hunter has served on the board of directors for dozens of clients and has been the chairman of the board of directors for Louisiana and federal work release programs since 2009.
Ms. Sonnier received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2000. She attended Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University and received her JD in 2003. Ms. Sonnier is licensed in both Louisiana and Texas.
Ms. Sonnier is actively involved in the Louisiana State Bar Association as well as her community.
